Finally, after five-plus years of virtual inactivity, I am updating and modernizing my personal and business web sites. I am redesigning the look-and-feel, and re-coding almost everything, using the Textpattern content management system. This is my thirtieth Textpattern web site, but my first as an owner, so I hope I find this CMS as useful as a site owner as I do as a designer and coder.
My business web site update has been completed, so now I can use it to find more work! My personal site is being updated more slowly, but I’m making progress each day. Many items from my old sites are being reposted into my new site, but this process takes time, because standards have progressed, styles have changed, and my coding skills have improved and multiplied.
So bear with me while my Under Construction signs dot the landscape for the next few weeks. Soon enough, my roadways on the information superhighway will be repaved, and be free of potholes and obstructions.
